Esya’13 is the third edition of Esya, IIIT-Delhi’s annual technical festival. The main vision of Esya is to bring together talented and motivated students from across India and provide them with a platform where they can explore and perform things differently.
Esya goes beyond being a simple Science and Technology competition. It aims to nurture the ideas that come forth in the spirit of healthy competition. The technical festival is all set to strike the right chord among the CS/IT students & enthusiasts of Delhi with its wide array of events.

- This event is the breeding ground for revolutionary ideas and dazzling innovations with teams competing with Line Following Robots over 3 exciting rounds.
- Prizes worth Rs. 20,000 to be won!
Events:
- Techathlon: A marathon of technical events, in which the participants will be tested on various technical skills ranging from coding to debugging to quick environment configuration
- Overnight hackathon: A 16-hour hackathon which will put your programming skills and creativity to test.
- Procon Junior: A programming contest for school students. The winners get bonus marks for admission in IIIT-Delhi, along with attractive prizes. Last date for registration: 25th July 2013
- Rebuttal: A GD-Extempore-Debate competition. Online round commences on 1st August 2013.
- xQuizIT: A quizzing event
- Prayatna: A social innovation competition. Solve a social problem through technological intervention. Last date for registration: 28th July 2013

- RoboCon: A line following robot competition
- FOQS: The photography event. Online prelims end on 11th August 2013.
- The Big Bang: An astronomy event
- Video dubbing competition: Event live!!
- Chakravyuha: An online treasure hunt. Commences in first week of August.
- Hunt IT: A treasure hunt (offline event)
- Pwned: The gaming event
- Blood Donation Drive
- Metro Mix: Esya'13's cultural night
